BEE CAVE, Texas (November 9, 2021) – The holiday season is always the brightest time of year at Hill Country Galleria, and the premier lifestyle center is pleased to announce several festive activities and events for the entire family to enjoy this year, including Light Up The Plaza, The Holiday Market, Lone Star Holiday Market, Selfies with Santa, Jingle Bell 5K, and more. In addition, the Galleria is pleased to welcome several new tenants opening just in time for Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and the gift-giving season — Body20, See’s Candies, lululemon, and Nékter Juice Bar. From shopping and dining to gathering with loved ones, there’s no better time to enjoy the convenience and lively atmosphere of Hill Country Galleria.

Light Up The Plaza at Hill Country Galleria | Central Plaza
Saturday, November 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m
Hill Country Galleria’s signature holiday event returns with Light Up The Plaza, where visitors can see Santa and watch the holiday tree and Central Plaza fully light up, offering picture-perfect photo opportunities for family and friends. Rock band American Authors will be performing holiday favorites and album hits such as “Best Day Of My Life,” and guests can enjoy other activities such as face painting and arrive early to shop and dine at the Galleria’s various retailers and restaurants. The event will be emceed by Mix 94.7’s Booker, Alex and Sarah, and is free and open to the public. Schedule for the day is as follows:

In celebration, Hill Country Galleria will be hosting a Best Day Of My Life Contest, running November 8 through November 24. The winner will receive a $1,000 shopping spree at Hill Country Galleria, a 1-night stay at Sonesta Bee Cave Hotel, VIP seats at the American Authors performance, a photoshoot by Kim Ortiz Portrait Art, and the ultimate Galleria swag bag. Hill Country Galleria has transformed the Central Plaza into an outdoor holiday market, featuring artisan vendors of art, jewelry, home goods, and holiday fare. Shoppers can also enjoy daily holiday performances under the Central Plaza Pavilion, synchronized tree light shows, glittering light displays, and an abundance of family photo opportunities.
Lone Star Holiday Farmers Market | Central Plaza
Every Sunday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., November 28 through December 19
The farmers market favorite is getting into the spirit of the season, hosting holiday-themed vendors in addition to produce and goods purveyors that regulars have come to know and love. The beloved farmers market will also offer extended hours until 4 p.m., plus holiday programming will also be taking place under the Central Plaza pavilion during this time. Lone Star Farmers Market will return to regular hours (10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Sundays) and operations on January 2, 2022. The market will not be open on December 26.
Selfies With Santa at Hill Country Galleria | Indoors, next door to Buenos Aires Cafe

This holiday season, Hill Country Galleria is excited to invite guests to Santa’s Workshop, next door to Buenos Aires Cafe, for “Selfies with Santa.” Decorated by Red Ruby Holiday, the space will offer a colorful, festive atmosphere for visits with Santa and photos. Visits with Santa are always free, and this year there will be no professional photographer on-site. Guests will be able to take photos with their own devices or use the HALO photo booth to snap their picture with Santa this year.
Jingle Bell 5K | Hill Country Galleria
Saturday, December 4
Jingle Bell 5K begins at 7 a.m.
Jingle Bell Dash (kids 12 and under) begins at 7:30 a.m.
The Bee Cave Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Jingle Bell 5K at Hill Country Galleria. Not only can adults participate in the Jingle Bell 5K, kids 12 and under will also have the opportunity to do their own run, called the “Jingle Bell Dash.” More information on how to sponsor or register for the event can be found at www.beecavechamberofcommerce.com.
Salvation Army Angel Tree | FoliePop’s
November 26 through December 6
Every holiday season, The Salvation Army Austin Area Command provides Christmas assistance to more than 7,000 children through their Angel Tree Program. When assistance is needed, parents/guardians apply for their child to become an “angel” and get adopted by the community. Hill Country Galleria will host a Salvation Army Angel Tree, located inside FoliePop’s. Those who are interested in contributing can visit the tree to select an angel for the holiday season, then return their purchased gifts to FoliePop’s for distribution.
National Ugly Sweater Day | Central Plaza Pavilion
Friday, December 17 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
On Friday, December 17, guests are encouraged to dig up their ugliest Christmas sweater and head over to Hill Country Galleria for a National Ugly Sweater Day celebration. Participating guests can take part in a contest to win prizes, enjoy festive Hill Country Galleria swag, a photo-op with the HALO photo booth, and join in on restaurant happy hours and a bar crawl until 8 p.m. Mix 94.7 morning show host Sarah Osborne will be onsite from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Wine Walks | Hill Country Galleria
Thursday, November 11 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. & Thursday, December 9 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Hill Country Galleria is bringing back its Wine Walk for two events this holiday season, featuring sips and shopping at select merchants. The walks will kick off at Total Wine & More. Retail lineups for each event can be found on Facebook.
From beloved national brands like Athleta and H&M to local boutiques like New Origin Shop, Anvil + Aura, and fab’rik, Hill Country Galleria is a one-stop source for all things holiday. The Galleria is pleased to welcome new shops and services in time for the season — Body20, See’s Candies pop-up, lululemon, and Nékter Juice Bar.
Body20 (4005 Market St, Suite 110), a new boutique fitness studio, opened at the Galleria on November 4. The studio offers "technology-enhanced muscle reactivation" workouts utilizing electro-muscle stimulation suits. The technology is combined with Body20’s proprietary, personalized workouts resulting in 20-minute one-on-one exercise sessions.
See’s Candies (A-110) will open a holiday pop-up shop from November 11 through December 24, situated right behind The League Kitchen & Tavern. See’s Candies has been making chocolate and candy the Mary See’s way for 100 years. The company prides itself on original recipes and the finest, freshest ingredients. Shoppers will find a wide variety of delicious candy, chocolates, and seasonal gifts.
lululemon (C1-110) will open just in time for holiday shopping on November 26. The brand makes technical gear for running, training, yoga and active lifestyles, offering innovative products that help people to feel their best and perform their best. Stores seek to create more than a place where people could get gear to sweat in, but a community hub where people can learn and discuss the physical aspects of healthy living, mindfulness, and living a life of possibility.
Nékter Juice Bar (4005 Market Street) Nékter Juice Bar is opening soon at Hill Country Galleria, in December. Nékter prides itself on entirely transforming the juice bar experience, offering total ingredient transparency by eliminating hidden fillers, unnecessary sugars, processed ingredients, and artificial flavors from its entire menu. Guests can enjoy freshly made juices, smoothies and açaí bowls made-to-order, plus a variety of healthy snacks, cold-pressed bottled juices, and more.
